Definitions
"A stigmergic information system (SIS) is a software platform, which facilitates the building of an information network by allowing actors to create/modify network elements and thereby share information among each other. Hence a SIS is a combined communication system and information regulation system. The central principle behind SIS is harnessing collective intelligence by stimulating, aggregating, leveraging, and distributing user contributions."
