In context of PSE, models represent the outcome of different disciplines, such as mechanics, electrics and software disciplines. In context of multi-disciplinary engineering, these models need to be synchronized to ensure correctness and consistency. Model quality assurance incorporates a bundle of quality assurance activities to ensure the correcteness and consistency of models across disciplines and domains.
